The story
Al Shurooq is a bakhoor that smells the way early morning feels: green, luminous and gently fruited. Lemon and orange open the smoke brightly, then apple, peach and a bouquet of lily, rose and jasmine make it soft and sweet.
As it warms, amber, patchouli, cedar and sandalwood give the aroma a calm, woody anchor. Warm a modest piece over hot charcoal, or on an electric burner, to perfume a room or your clothes, perhaps while the day is still quiet and the windows are open.
